This might sound like a simple question, but here goes. Im looking to but a chrome muffler tip for a Dodge Stratus 2002 4dr. What would the size be?

 

using a tool such as a ruler or tape measure will answer that question

 

And for those without a tape measure, it should be a 2 - 2 1/2" pipe.
Installation will require the use of other basic hand tools. Which ones will vary depending on which muffler tip you go with. Most aftermarket tips will adjust (be a little larger and tighten down to fit the next size pipe down.

 

For the answer a 3.5" tip fits nicely in the bumper.
