Default 98` 2.4L dohc stratus serious HELP please?

hello,
i am thinking of buying a 98 stratus, but it needs a couple parts.
i was looking at the o2 sensor`s, i see some take two sensors and the ones that take just one shows its either in front on the catalytic convertor or behind.
i believe this one is in front, so does this mean it only has the one sensor?

also i noticed a hard vaccum line was plugged off that comes from the lower portion of the intake.
this line runs up to the top left side over the valve cover, but this is where its terminated.
if i open the line, the engine will idle higher and alittle smoother. where does this line go?
i searched google, ask, bing and jeeves for a exploded pic or free manual for this car, i havent found anything of use.
my issue`s are,
the car idle`s bad, but runs out smooth. its also running rich.
the egr valve has been replaced, because a parts house said this was the issue. now they say it COULD be the o2 sensor.
then they say if the o2 sensor doesnt fix it, it COULD be the idle sensor.
is there anyone here that can help with the posted questions?
i`d like to know if this car is fixable on the cheap, its rusting out and not worth putting much if any money in to. i just need it to get me through the michigan winter, after which it will be retired to it`s rightful place THE JUNK YARD.
this will be my first dodge product, and thats only because its for 500 bucks.
thanks in advance,
larry

it could be anything, you'll need to get the troubleshoot codes from the PCM, is a OBDII so you can know what it is, if the computer does not have a trouble code then the car just need a serious tune up
