Hello everyone! this is my first post so i like to say hi to everyone.

well i just wrecked my 98 dodge neon and i am in a market for a new car. While i was looking I came upon a '99 Dodge Stratus ES for $4450 w/ 77000mi. Is this a good price?
I also was wondering if this motor has problems such as oil leak with the head gasket like the 95-99 neons did?
also i heard a rumor that the 2.5 V6 motors in stratus was made my Mitsubishi? is that true? if so is it reliable with 77000 miles on 'em already.

and last, would you recommend it?

That sounds like a real good deal to me! No big motor problems with the 2.5L V6 that I have heard about. And yes, those engines were mainly manufactured my Mitsubishi, as well as the 3.0L V6. It was a cross project with Mitsubishi back '99 when they were in process of modeling the new Strat after the Elipse.
