2.4 DOHC HELP
I am in the process of rebuilding a 2.4 DOHC out of a 96 Stratus. My problem is this. I layed the crank into position and I had the main cap assembly in position to place it on the block when I noticed an O-ring about the size of a quarter (maybe a little bigger) had fallen on the floor. I looked in the manual (Chilton) and sure enough, it shows that there should be an O-ring between the 2 mating surfaces. The problem is that the diagram isn't very clear and I have looked over and over and I don't see where this darn thing is supposed to go. It shows that if you're standing at the front of the engine looking at the underside of the block that the O-ring goes near the right front corner. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
