Hi, I just joined and I'm helping out a buddy with his 2002 Stratus. The serpentine belt came loose and it looks like it the tensioner that is issue. We pulled it off and took a picture. I cant figure out what the part is called because the belt tensioner comes up with only the pully as the replacement part, and any reference to tensioner comes up as the timing belt tensioner. The repair manual doesnt state how to replace this part. The part also looked like it was knocking into the housing just top of the crankshaft. Any idea if this would be ok to leave as is? Not sure how much trouble this is to fix ourselves!
