i have an 01 dodge stratus r/t, clutch went out a while ago and when i pulled the motor and tranny out the flywheel and clutch were fused together. long story short its been a pain in the *** finding the right parts. i bought the flywheel for the 01 eclipse gt/gts and it bolts right on. then i bought the exedy clutch kit for the 01 stratus r/t bolted right on, but the damn motor wont turn with the engine and tranny bolted together. i cant find a flywheel for the stratus anywhere. if i buy the clutch kit for the eclipse to match the flywheel will it work properly?

 

Yes. For whatever reason they decided to change the flywheels and clutches between the two, yet keep everything else mechanical the same. Install an Eclipse clutch and you will be all set. If it doesnt work then, you have another issue.
