I have a 2005 Dodge Stratus SRX that failed the emissions test today. The check engine light keeps coming on and going off. Two codes came up...P0430 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (bank 2) and P2098 and they don't know what this one is. Trying to see it I can get it fixed without paying labor. Does anyone know anything about these?

p2098 Down stream fuel system 2/2 Lean, possible causes are ,exhaust leak,mechanical problem with engine ,bad 02 sensor ,02 sensor circuit or return circuit, fuel contamination,p0430 causes exhaust leak ,02 sensor,mechanical problem, or catalytic converter

 

My 06 sxt had pretty much the same codes. It ended up being plugged cats on mine. They're not cheap to replace.
