Default Car seems to be running hot?

Has anyone noticed if their oil cap get hot after driving for a while (95 2.0L, 5spd)......like so hot you can't touch it long enough to remove it?

The temp guage in the car is only at about half way point.

halfway point is normal...and after a long ride inthe summer, im sure alot of things under the hood are that hot...unless its boiling over, or the gauge is very high, i wouldnt worry too much about it.

does the coolant look clean? i would just keep an eye on that temperature gauge...considering how hot the engin compartment gets this time of year, i wouldnt worry too much about the hot feel of the oil cap, so long as it isnt boiling over, and it isnt low on coolant.
