I have the tank off and have changed the fuel filter. Gas is not getting to rail.

I put air pressure on either ends of the fuel line and no flow out the other end.

Are there check valves or am I screwed.

I started the pump off the car with new filter and I can hold my finger over the out tube. Does this mean too little pressure? When I remove the power to the pump and take my finger off the tube there isnt any pressure without the pump being on.

If my tube is clogged how do I unclog it?

 

ok I noticed a valve in the fuel line that attachs to rail. I pushed it in with a dowel and had some blow on the other end. Clean as a whistle. Only gas came out.

Time to remove the pump. And I dont have that special tool.
