Shock replacement
Okay, I have to replace my rear shocks.
I know this because the left rear has separated from the mounting plate and is rattling around inside the spring.
Am I gonna have to compress the spring to get the unit out or will there be enough drop when I jack up the rear for it to come out?
(I'm replacing all 4 and hardware, just waiting on parts)

Since there is nothing keeping pressure on the top of the spring as I jack up the side (it will keep expanding until it doesnt have to) will the wheel drop enough for me not to have to compress the spring,
(Actually it doesnt really matter practically as I will have the compressor on hand, I was just curious)
unfortunately suspension doesn't go up high enough to totally take pressure off of spring, upper control arm only lets wheel drop so far, makes it a pain to get new one on bottom mount(easiest way i found use a screwdriver and hammer to get strut on bottom mount)
