I have a 96 dodge stratus 2.4L, according to the man at the shop I called the starter on that model has a short in it and needs to be replaced. I thought I could change it myself and save a little bit of money but I CAN NOT find it on either the left or the right side of the motor. I have changed the starter on 2 trucks so i know what to look for, can any one help me?????

 

the starter is located just under the Air intake manifold passenger side of the car, just right of the Alternator.

I have had my 96 for very long time never had issue with Starter my self.
