Unhappy 2000 Dodge Stratus SE is Haunted

I pulled in to get gas one night and the car was running fine about a mile and a half down the road it started to buck. Its almost like the power was shutting down. Got it home and the code reader said it was the cam shaft sensor and crank shaft sensor. Changed both of those out and the code reader said it was the ignition coil. Changed the ignition coil. Still had the same problems and the code reader said cam shaft and crank shaft sensor again. Changed them both again and had the same problems so i took it to a mechanic. They changed out the computer and it worked for 4 days but had the same problems again. Took it back to mechanic and they checked the fuel pressure and changed the transmission control module. This time it only worked for a day and a half the same problems ensued again. I dont know what else to change but the engine seems to smooth out the more load i put on it (air conditioner, head lights, wipers, etc.) I checked the electrical output with meters and everything seems fine. If anyone has any ideas please help because the mechanics finally said it was just haunted and i really dont want to scrap this car if it has a chance of running. Thank You

the SE is the 4cyln model, right?
what is the exact code? can u post it?
if it is a individual code for "Crank sensor circuit", then Go pick up a Pig Tail connector for Cam and Crank sensor from the dealership and change it.
If it is code like "cam and crank correlation" type of code, maybe the timing belt jumped.
give us the exact code from the reader, and engine size, 4door or 2 door stratues, we can help better.

Solder and Shrink tube on wiring repair for this application only, these are critical sensor. Don't use Butt connectors or twist and eletrical tape method.

Default Codes

its a 4 door sedan 2.4 liter engine. Right now the codes are P1341 (camshaft position sensor b Range/Performance) and P0340 (Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction) but originally when this all started one of the codes was P1335 (Crankshaft Positioning Sensor Circuit) this still shows up intermittently but after taking that out and putting it back in its not showing up at the moment. I should also mention that the battery light has been coming on and that it back fires through the throttle body. Thank you for all your help

the battery light coming ON? well low or unstable voltage, you get all type of random codes. You should have your battery terminal cleaned and test the battery, as well as charging system if battery light is coming ON. try monitor the voltage with a meter.

If you connect/disconnect the sensor, and code is gone for now, for sure u need a pig tail connector. it is fairly common on the 2.4l and 2.0l.

and are you using OEM sensors from the dealership? I hope you are.
