Question please help an old school guy

Hello everyone this may be a dumb ? for many on here. I am kinda a old school guy who grew up on old v8 cars and tech, so my way of thinking may be off. I am trying to get the hang of this new school stuff and well have done pretty good till now. My question is this on my 01 Stratus R/T the firing order for the 3.0 is as follows 1 threw 6 in order but I do not understand how that is accomplished when the plug wires are arranged according to the cap and haynes manual in a clock wise order of 624 on the left side or front side of car and 531 in the haynes book or 351 on the dist cap for the back side. so wouldnt that make the firing order 162453 or 162435. Please help. My car will not run, and I have replaced the crank sensor, timing belt, double checked the timing, placed a new dist in it, along with a new cap, rotor button, wires, and plugs, new fuel pump, and checked the compression which is all in between 180-190 psi. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

correct firnig order is 1-6 in order, the ecm corntrols when rotor gets spark it jumps around a little, did car just die on you,or after repair did it stop running, have you had it checked for codes,r u getting spark ,fuel?. have you tried switching auto shutdown relay in power distrbution center under the hood with one of the other relays

well I bought the car not running from a guy who said it just started loosing power. It is getting spark, I put a new fuel pump in it, and it has good comp. If I have all the timing marks alligned it will not run, if I move the two cam sprokets one tooth toward the back of car it will run but real rough and backfire, if I move the crank one tooth back it will run and not back fire but will not rev up at all. were is this relay I have taken the fuel one and the one directly behind it and switched them and no result. I am not getting no trouble codes and my dealer even said everything looks good as far a sensors by there comp. I purchased a new dist out of a salvage yard from a car with 35k on it, if that is bad would it cause it to act like it is out of time. Thanks so very much for your time.

that relay should be close to fuel pump relay, yes the dist could be causing problems if it is bad, believe the cam sensor is part of the distributor on that model if thats going bad could cause it not to start
