Default engine light on again

I'm new to this so hopefully I'm doing this right

I have an 02 sxt sedan and my engine light came on the other day went to autozone to see what code/codes I had and they said it was code p0456. The guy at autozone said it might just be the gas cap so I went and replaced it and had the code cleared but the engine came on again and it happens to be the same code p0456. Does anyone have any ideas on what it may be or that I could fix being that I'm not that great of a mechanic.

Some error codes have to be reset.....while I am not saying this is the case.....it would be worth the maybe $50-75 to have a dealer run a diagnostic test on it

Code indicates leak in EVAP system .the charcoal canister in 02 sedan is located on top of the fuel tank.
Most common symptom is is a strong fuel odor or raw fuel leaking from the canister.
This happens more often during high temperatures.
Leak detection pump is located next to canister.
But if normal system pressure is not reached most common reason is loose fuel filler cap.
So any leaks on these components (cap or canister/valves on top of tank) makes PCM to give that code..
