There are dozens of cycles in your vehicles system. I've only ever had "drive cycle" referred to as how long my daily commute is...

What are you looking for in more detail?
Is something not working correctly that you want more information on?

It will also help to know what engine/transmission your 1996 Stratus has, as well as the mileage.

Thanks rattsam. My car won't pass inspection because It has been setting up for about 8 months and the 02 heat sensors, catalytic convertor and other 02 sensors are not ready. The technician said I need to drive the car some and come back for an inspection. I have a 2.4L engine and the mileage is 103,000 original miles. I don't know about the transmission type. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Think most states are 50-100 miles or more of data, was battery dead or disconnected while it was sitting

Hmmm... Can you ask the inspector what they base it on? Mileage as mentioned above, or if it's just because it's showing a "battery disconnected" status, that should go away in 10-20 trips (getting up to temp, cooling down, [cycle!, got it now]).

I never took note of it with mine, and the counties I've lived in here in PA were either no emissions testing, or only test for a good gas cap.
