Exclamation HELP! 01 Stratus Radio blinking wont start after few days!

So basically here's my problem: Randomly when im driving my radio will start blinking and then the next morning the car wont start. I took it to a shop and they said that the alternator had a bad diode replaced it and same thing happened a few days later. They towed it back for free put another alternator in it and it still says it has a bad diode in it. Does anyone have any clue on what could be causing this?! Apparently they've put 3 alternators on it now. Any help would be appreciated!!

Default I'm having the same issue now

Radio light flickered 2 weeks ago - car wouldn't start a few days later. Repairman replaced blown fuse - 10 days later radio flickering again so far car is still running. Any suggestions?

I like to address the basics, first. Are your battery terminals clean, and are the clamps tight? sometimes the screw in the clamps gets stripped and it gets loose. Especially since the battery is near the tire, it can get gummed up.
Next thing to check is the negative wire under the hood, at the safety removal bolt. Make sure it's tight. My next check would be for a short in the wires. If it is a short, it's likely it's somewhere you can see it, as the wire would be exposed. Then i would consider anything else on the electrical system that has given you trouble, even a light. Shorts can occur anywhere.
