You may already do this. But it is found that instead of reving your engine to high rpm's. Shift at every 3000 - 3400 rms. You will use alot less gas and alot less of transmission wear and tear.

the 2.5 Mitsu only came in auto, you cant really pick your shifts...
One thing that Im noticing is that my 2.5 is getting sub par gas mileage. Ive had it for 4 weeks and its averaging 22 miles a gallon mostly highway... I was thinking of just doing a tune up and then a cold air intake eventually, dont know if they make any for the 1st gens...
