Hi, I have a 2004 Dodge stratus coupe sxt. I just installed some 6X9 Pioneer 4 way speakers in the back ofthe car. To do that, I had to take out the bars that support and hold up the trunk. After I took it out the trunk weighs a ton. The magnet of the aftermarket speaker was too big and the bar, when the trunk closed or opened, would not clear the magnet of the speaker. I was wondering if there is anyway to bend the bar so it would clear. I am having to open the trunk using my spoiler and I dont like that cause I am afraid it will bend the spoiler itself with all the weight of the trunk. So if the 2004-2005 Strat Coup ppl could help me out, it would be much appreciated.

 

First of all are you going to run an amp? If not I guarantee those speakers will sound 100 times worse than the stock speakers. You just wont have enough power to get them to sound right. Dont screw with the bar.
