1996 2.4l - P0303 clyinder 3 misfire
Hi guys. Just recently started leaking a little coolant and oil but car has never gotten hot.
Went to start it for work this morning and it was idling really rough and seemed to lose all power and it shut off.
When i got home I hooked up code scanner and it came up P0303 cylinder 3 misfire.
Hope it's not a head gasket problem...could it be anything else???
Appreciate any help!

First you should check for obvious problems (like a bad Spark plug or Spark plug wire). Then you can do a compression test to diagnose or rule out a head gasket problem.
For what it is worth, when an engine leaks a bit of coolant or oil from the head area, you are looking at maybe 15 or 45 PSI of pressure (coolant or oil) to cause that leak. It is leaking towards the outside of the engine. Sometimes, when a head gasket goes bad, it will leak from a cylinder towards a coolant or oil passage or even to another cylinder. Cylinder pressures typically deal with 150 - 200 PSI of pressure during the compression stroke. So when you start seeing small leaks from your head gasket area, don't be surprised that when they are neglected that later a significant leak occurs from the same bad head gasket.
