2002 Dodge Stratus Blinking A/C Light
My daughter has a 2002 Stratus that the A/C light is blinking. She said she had the air on and it was running fine and then she noticed it was getting warmer in the car and the A/C light was blinking instead of solid. The next day she went out to go to school and the air worked perfect. A few weeks later the light started blinking again. She shut the car off for awhile, started it up and the air worked fine. She says now it is happening more and more frequently. She said now when she gets in her car after school, the air will work for about 5 minutes and then the light starts blinking. Any help on how to fix this or what it could be?
We bought this car about 7 years ago and as for my knowledge, we have not recharged the A/C. Could this be what it's telling us?

Coupe or sedan? On the coupes, a blinking a/c light often means the serpentine belt on the compressor is slipping. May want to tighten or replace it. Could be something else, but I've seen the belt as the problem a few times
