No air air conditioning!
I have a 2000 Stratus 2.0. There is no air coming out of the vents even though the fan is blowing hard. I even took it out and checked it and it spins fine. Put it back in, and no matter what setting I put it on I feel nothing. It's loud, too, but just blowing into the dash or something. Help?
so... does any air coming out of the defrost and floor vent? is it a position problem or a airflow problem?
also the inlet of the air is under the windshield wiper cowel. Maybe is clog? block?
does Recirculation mode make any different?
Something rare: check if the motor is blowing in reverse direction...

I'm new to this, so if I'm wrong on where I'm placing my question, forgive me. A friend of mine was checking the AC for no cold air from vents. After checking what seemed to be everything, he tried a direct from battery jumper to the high pressure switch, and when he made contact with the switch(blue wire), the engine completely died and now will only crank, won't turn over. 20 codes show up on the tester, 95% are codes for all kinds of sensors. I don't know what to do now, and what bothers me is that he doesn't either. I thought he knew what he was doing, so here I am looking for help. Anyone have any ideas where to start or what could have happened? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
