Exclamation Jack Stand Issues on First Gen. Stratus!

I have a 2-ton hydraulic floor jack from GM Performance Parts and I'm trying to get jackstands under a 1998 Stratus. I can't seem to jack it up high enough to even begin to fit the jack stands under it. I am putting the jack under the marked areas behind the front wheels. Do I need a bigger jack? Wrong lift points? Please help!

I am able to get them under my 2002 Taurus (daily driver) but not my Dodge. Why?

If your jack is lifting the car high enough, there's absolutely no reason that you can't get the jack stands underneath. I've done it numerous times. You're right to lift at the factory lift points. Maybe if you can post some pictures of the jack at full height and the stands not fitting that might shed some light on what could be wrong.

Now I've had issues with some cars that I could not get a tire off the ground with the jack (worn suspension parts never "pulled" the tire up), but that's not the issue here...

Alrighty, pics coming up tomorrow! If I have time after work...I have a busy day.

No it ain't the suspension, I've tried the "bump test" and its still has solid as it was 15 years ago! Believe it or not, with 265,296 miles and counting...its the original suspension. Knock on wood now.
