I have a 2000 Dodge Stratus with the 2.4L auto...

When I turn the key I have no "ON" position goes right into cranking. Does that for about 15 secs than nothing.. Car also has no spark..

I just replaced the ignition switch thinking that was the issue does the same thing..

Need help on this one....

A few more details..

The car had broke a timing belt wiping out the head. So I bought a totaled but great running '98 Plymouth Breeze. All we did was a complete engine transmission swap.

I've tried both computers, and the ignition switch and am at a complete lose for what or why I have no "ON" position and no spark..

Well I have found that the issue is cause the power to the fuel pump is going to the starter..

Looks like I need to pull apart the Power Distribution center and look for a chaffed, broke or off wire..
