97 Stratus ECM Replacement? 2.5 V-6
2.5 V-6 Auto trans ES model
A shop told me a wiring short fried my PCM (no longer sending 5-volt reference signal to MAP sensor so car cuts out/idles rough and sometimes stalls)
1. Shop says $1000+ because I have to buy a new ECM from the dealer and have it re-flashed by the dealer. Someone online says I can get a used ECM if it has exactly the same part number on it and it should work. Who is right?
2. How do I know if I have the "firm suspension" option? It seems like the PCM's are different.
