This car was running fine the night be fore. Went out to start in the morning and it wouldn't start. I checked for fuel pressure in rail and its fine. Checked for spark and there is none. I have replaced the crank position sensor, the cam position sensor and coil pack. I have replaced plugs but realize they would not prevent spark at the wire. I have tried the computer reset. I am a diesel guy, i hate gassers for this very reason. Ive had a scaner code read. P0320. I am sure that this is a simple fix if i can just find the problem. Please if you have any trouble shooting suggestions I would appreciate any input.

 

Is it getting spark on 1 and 4, but not 2 and 3? If so, you've ran into the same problem as I have with a customer's car; which I've found from Google searches (98 stratus no spark 2 3 2.4) is a common problem with these cars.

The solution is to replace the ECM. There are 2 ECMs on this car for some weird reason. The one with the issue is mounted directly beside the air filter box.
