Default Adding an FOB

My 2001 Stratus didn't come with a factory FOB.

What do I need from a twin junkyard donor car to make the function work on my car?

You will need the keyless entry module and at least one key fob. The module is attached to the Body Control Module (BCM) behind the electrical junction block. The junction block is where all the fuses are located on the driver's side of the car.

After you install the module in your car, you will need to go to the dealer or a locksmith so they can program the key fob to the new module.

The donor car has keys and FOB. Does that make it plug and play?

It's possible it could be plug and play if the fob is matched to the module in the donor car. The fob's codes should be stored in the module's memory.
