Slow cranking when hot
I have a 2002 Stratus R/T 3.0 v6 5 speed. I am having issues with it starting after the car is hot, it will crank extremely slow. When the car is cold it cranks no problem and starts right up. The motor is stock except for a header kit that I put on the car. I recently wrapped the headers with header wrap thinking the heat might be affecting the starter. Could I have over heated the starter with the headers and damaged it? Or is there another possibility for this problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
