Default Car does not start with newly replaced camshaft position sensors

I have a 2004 dodge stratus es with a 2.7l dohc engine. When i'm driving the car, it would shut off when it wants to and the engine light would come on. I checked the trouble code and it gave me p1391 (CMP or CKP signal intermittent). I then replaced the crank shaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor. When I replaced the camshaft position sensor, the car wouldn't start (it would crank and . I've replaced it with multiple new camshaft sensors which gave the same results but it turns on with the old camshaft sensor.

Would there be a reason why it won't start with new camshaft sensors?
