This morning I went to open my car door and turned the key and nothing. Not only that it would farther than normal. My passenger door lock has not worked for a long time so I had to figure out how to get in the car. Watch a you tube and with that information was able to get a clothes hanger wire to open the car door. I went to work so these even I tackle the job of taking the door panel off. I found out the rod was not on the lock anymore. The spring clip was broken. Went to Menards and for 29 cents bought another spring clip, but it took me a long time to figure out how to connect the lock rod again. Maybe you are supposed to take the latch off the door but I did not. Maybe now I will try to get the other door lock working even though I don't use it.
