Hello. I have an '04 Stratus with a 2.4 single overhead cam. I was on the freeway recently and the car was running fine, but suddenly it got hot and died. I towed it home and tried to start it after it had cooled off and it just made a funny noise like it wasn't getting compression. It wouldn't try to turn over at all. I thought the timing belt was broke, but it looks fine, and it appears to be in time. I'm not sure which way to go and don't want to throw money at it without knowing what's wrong. Any help will be appreciated.
