Default dashboard issues

I've been having problems with my Stratus recently (since we've been having 90 degree days). None of my gauges on my dashboard work (temp, speedometer, gas gauge, etc) when the car gets hot (inside or out). The air conditioner blows but not cool air. The door locks won't work either. Most of the time the windows will work fine when this happens. The car runs fine (knock on wood)...I just can't tell how fast I'm going when I'm driving until it cools down inside. Any idea what causes this or how expensive a fix it will be? Once I park it in the shade and it cools down inside, everything goes back to normal. There is no shade at my home where I park so every afternoon when I leave I have to guess how fast I'm going.

I just started a thread dealing with this exact issue. I'll keep track of this thread for advice! My car is a 1999 Dodge Stratus ES with a 2.5 liter V6.
