I'm about to do an engine swap on a 2004 Stratus and need to ID the engine. By the VIN it is a 2.7L but there are 3 options for that particular engine for the year, one is 16 tooth crank tone ring, the other 2 have 32 tooth tone rings, and one of those has a passenger side mounted EGR while the other does not. Can anyone please help me figure out how to ID this thing without pulling it so I can get the engine ordered? Any help is greatly appreciated. The VIN is 1B3AL36T44N106542.
