2000 stratus SE 2.4L brake and possible engine issues
I have been searching around the internet a while, but was unable to find any answers. I have recently had my rear drums and brake shoes replaced. The shop said that I may need my cylinders replaced soon too. A couple of days later, the brakes started making a pulsating squeaking sound after I would let off the the brake pedal after driving for a while. I have been driving in 80+ degree weather for around 30-35 minutes per day on the highway mostly (I just wasn't sure if this was a factor in it). Anyway, I just need some input on what could be causing this pulsating squeaking after I let off the pedal.
Also, in an unrelated note, a few days ago my engine started to become loud and sound almost groggy from 1500 to 2000 rpm while accelerating. Before and after that range it sounds normal. It does not seem like there is any loss in power at all either. It also idles normally so I'm not sure what would cause this.
Thanks in advance for any help. It is much appreciated.
EDIT: Sorry about the post didn't notice what the thread was for. I will post in the open forum. No need to reply
