I have a 2006 Stratus drove it to the ATM turned it off did my business came back and turned the key and nothing... no lights, no sounds, dead. AAA came out hooked up their cables and it was an instant crank. As soon as the guy took off the charger the car dies instantly... he puts the charger back on and leaves it this time for a few minutes and i was able to drive home. I had the battery checked and the alternator at autozone both good. The car battery light on the dash stays on and I have no idea why. I'm afraid that I will be stranded again. The car starts fine now but this just happened couple hours ago. Any ideas as to what happened?

 

Loose cable? So... it may well be OK now that you've taken the battery out for testing and tightened everything back up.

Hey guys i recently bought a 2000 Dodge Stratus i pulled it into my driveway after doing some cleaning i had it idol for light (it was getting late) and the car was idling fine then it started to idol not so soundly then it turned off i tryed to restart the car but all it did was turn over it didint fire up

I am not sure where to post this i just need help it is sitting in my driveway....

 

Not same symptoms as the opening post. His didn't even do anything, as if the battery was 100% dead. Yours sounds like you've run out of gas, or your fuel pump cut off. Could be a bunch of different things. Try posting your question as a new thread, you'll get more answers that way.
