My struts are well beyond wore out and I need to replace them however, I do not know howto access to top of the rear struts. I thought like most others it was in the trunk but, when I moved the carpet back there is a steel box welded to the top of the wheel well going to the section in the back window. please tell me it's fairly easy to get to because, I'm a do it yourself-er and simply cant afford the $1400 bill through bell tire. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im a month late, but for future reference- On the coupes only:
Remove the bottom of the rear seat (Two black pull tabs under the cushion)
On either side of the seat back, you will see two sections of the seat back that are separate from the main part; there will be one bolt holding each of those pieces on, near the bottom where the lower cushion was. Remove the bolts, slide the pads out, then have access to the two bolts on either side holding the strut in place.
