ok i have a 2001 dodge stratus r/t great car, one problem: no heat
have talked to several mechanics and everyone says that it is the actuator. upon removing my dash and calling the dealership they informed me that there isnt one for this car. they said to try checking the blower but it blows fine. . the ac works great on all settings but when you switch it to heat it doesnt get warm unless its idling at a stand still. both heater hoses are warm and the temp gauge registers as it should. does anyone know of anything that might help???

 

Check radiator cap, maybe your engine thermostat is stuck open and not holding engine heat when driving. Follow lower radiator hose to engine, it at that point. Not the top hose.
