Please help!!!!!! The other night when it got really cold my key wouldnt turn to start my car at all. I tried about anything i could think of and researched the issue and tried almost every suggest that the internet had to offer. I ended up freezing my butt off and gave in after an hour in the cold and called a tow truck. Spent $50 i didnt have to get my car home which was less then 2 miles. I have had simular problems with the key not able to turn in the ignition befor where as i did the same thing wiggle jiggle turn and it usually after messing with it for a few minutes it gives in and finially i get luckey and it turns and starts but not this time. Nothing seems to work. With xmas right around the conner and stapped for cash already due to bills i cant really afford to spend any money, however i cant afford no car either cuz i do have to get to work so any suggestions and or advise to get my key to turn and start would be very much appreaciated. Take a very small hammer, ratchet or big handle screwdriver and strike the head of the key several times. Don't try to hammer it like a nail, but be firm with it. The graphite in the cylinder tumblers has gotten cold/old/hard.
