Default 2001 2.7 Huge Oil Leak

I picked up an 01 Stratus with an oil leak for cheap. It only leaks when it's running. It is coming from somewhere behind the engine. It's only on the passenger side. When it's running it gushes oil. Is this a valve cover gasket issue? Any other ideas?

hard to say without seeing where exactly its leaking, could be valve cover gasket, maybe head gasket ,oil sending unit, have you checked pcv system make sure its working(could cause excess crankcase pressure and be forcing oil out, the early 2.7's had a problem with engine sludge buildup have read of a few where oil got blown out becuase of that

It's also leaking coolant. I saw where the water pump goes out a lot on these....could that be what the issue is?

Also, thanks for replying!

if it was water pump most likely would be leaking on passenger side over front axle behind tires when looking at from side,i would try and clean engine(real pain to get to anything on back of engine) or have it cleaned off as best you can to try and find leak, if you have ramps(or jack and jack stands) you may be able to get a lot of it cleaned from underneath wear goggles or face shield if you have one, raincoat your get soaked
