Yes, the lights and radio did come on without it being jumped. We had it towed over to the shop this afternoon, so now it's up to the mechanic to look at it and hope it is something easy so it doesn't cost us more money. It's a hurry up and wait game now.

Default Easy fix but expensive bill...again :(

It was the fuel pump!! It's running but not pumping like it should be. It wouldn't of been a huge surprise, but we JUST replaced that in November when we first had issues. Granted it was a 'less expensive" one, but it only had a 3 month warranty on it so that means we had to have the guy order one, and in turn will cost us another $575 after. He found one for $300 something and then labor. It would of been a little cheaper for us to get one ourselves and put it in, but we are already too drained on fixing or trying to figure it out we just told the mechanic to do it. Hopefully he'll have the part by tomorrow or early Tues. My husband claims if anything else goes wrong after this, we are getting rid of the car so I hope this is the last of our issues!! Thank you again everyone for the help.

Default hello i am trying to understand what is the problem

I own a 2005 stratus and kind of had the same problems from what i understand your car cranks but wont start right?
1. Check the fuel pump relay
Just turn the key to the on position and listen if it goes on. You will hear a little buzzz .
2. On the back passangers car on the driver side if you tilt the back all the way in you will find a connection to the fuel pump. You might have disconected it.
3. Check all the fuses under the hood. Mine was doing it because the 20 amp blue fuse was burned. Ill try to read more carefully your problem and see if i can find the solution.
