What should I use to replace orange foam type material on either end of the coil spring. You know that stuff that prevents metal on metal contact between the spring, strut, and mounting bracket. The car is a 04 stratus sedan.

 

you should still be able to get the top one at dealer ,bottom nobody makes anymore ,when i did mine i took what was left of bottom one(had 3 splits in it falling apart) and duct taped it on new strut never heard any noise ,have you started yet the front are a real pain

 

Yeah I started, I have the strut completely disassembled. I ordered the bushings already and am waiting on those but I can't find the damn spring insulators. Duct tape fixes everything lol

 

I was able to get both when I did mine from the dealer. They weren't that expensive IIRC.
