I bought an alternator from a junk yard and now i need to know a ballpark figure before i call around so i wont get jipped.

 

It all depends on the shops hourly rate and how long the job is estimated to take by the book. Id estimate 2 hours in the book at say $75 an hour. Alternator replacement it fairly simple and hard to screw up, plus would save a bunch of money if you did it yourself.
