Just a few days ago I had the timing belt, water pump and spark plugs replaced in my 2003 Stratus. Now the check engine light flashes 5 times when I turn the key to acc. It goes off after I start the car, but it never did this before. Also it now idles very rough. Feels like the car is coughing. Replaced spark plug wires, and it helped. Doesnt stutter as hard, but still stutters and the check engine light still flashes when on acc. Help?!

Is this a 2.7 or 2.4?
Did you disconnect the battery? If so, the flashing indicates that the car hasn't run all emissions tests yet. It takes a while for those to run. Once they complete successfully the flashing will stop. Otherwise the CEL will stay on the whole time indicating a problem. At that time you can do the "key dance" to find out what trouble codes there are. Then start from there.

Fixed. Coil pack post for cylinder 3 was giving weak power, and weak spark. Caused P0303 cylinder 3 misfire. Hope this helps someone else
