01 stratus 3.0 white smoke and very rough vibrations under acceleration

I just purchased an 01 stratus and when driving down the road, it vibrates excessively only under acceleration, and smokes like a freight train. Runs great. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Could be worn piston rings, a bad head gasket or something else. What does the oil look like? If milky, the head gasket is bad.

oil is clean. No milk. But there does seem to be compression in the heads. Blows oil out when I remove the oil cap
