Exclamation 05 stratus overheats need help

Hi, I have a 05 stratus sxt 2.4L DOHC and just replaced water pump and thermostat and car still overheats. I'm leaning towards head problem now. Garage said water pump but change and no fix. When shut off I can hear bubbling and loosing bleeder has only steam come out. When I fill coolant I bleed Everytime til no air and within 20 minutes of idling with heater cranked it starts to bubble inside the hoses. Has new temp sensor also and reads normal. I'm stumped, any advice?

Do the radiator cooling fans ever come on?
Have you checked / replaced the radiator cap?
Is it loosing coolant?
Have you checked for flow through the radiator?

Yeah fans come on after bout ten min of running then bout every 5 min after. Have changed cap, have squeezed upper radiator hose and feel coolant moving same with heater core lines

So, I'm confused.
The temp reading stays normal, the fans come on as they should, you're not losing coolant.
None of this points to an overheating condition.

The bubbling and gurgling may be a normal condition for that engine. I get your concern about there maybe being a problem with the head or head gasket though. There are test kits that will check for combustion gasses in your coolant if you want to pursue that route.

You may want to re-visit the air bleeding procedure for the coolant system then. Most times, you run the engine up to temp with the radiator cap off, open the bleeders until coolant comes out and close them, then top off the coolant in the system and put the radiator cap back on. Make sure the recovery tank is filled to the HOT mark. If the radiator cap is working right, coolant will be drawn back into the system to compensate for the coolant contraction as it cools.
