Default 2006 2.7 Oil Filter won't fit

Doing an oil change on a 2006 Stratus with the 2.7L v6.
I'm using a Wix 51085 filter, however the threaded hole is too small to fit the threaded post off the engine. I have also tried another brand of filter (AC Delco);and the filter for the 4 cyl, but all had the same problem. Does the filter guide at the store have the wrong information?

Oddly, a filter for a Nissan Sentra fit just fine, but the filter is much smaller.

The existing filter's label seems to have peeled off (just a grey canister, no markings).

Any ideas on what filter I should be using?

Correct Wix # is 61085 - not sure if that was a typo on your part.. Fram PH16, ACDelco #PF13, Bosch #3402

Many filters fit several different vehicles - same thread and mounting boss dimensions.

Mopar M090 is another that fits.
I got the same Wix filter when I searched your car, it's possible they have the wrong filter listed for your car, wouldn't be the 1st time parts stores had things listed wrong.
