'01 r/t coupe 3ltr...................when i turn on my a/c after a couple minutes the light on switch starts blinking and a/c stops working.Shut car off and restart , works for minute and does the same thing...help

 

I have an 04 RT and have this same issue. Gonna follow to see if someone has the answer.

 

Check the belt. It will flash if the belt is slipping. There could be any number of things that causes the A/C light to flash though: low refrigerant, bad compressor, clogged system components, etc.

Basically, you won't really know what's wrong until you take it to a mechanic that you can trust.
