Default 2005 stratus sxt with 2.7l v6 coolant issue

Recently picked up this car do not have it on the road yet just been tinkering around with it and checking it over and everything's good other than a small puncture in the ac line in front of the radiator (which I'm not concerned with) my main issue I'm not familiar with the v6 motor and have an issue with the coolant wanting to flow back into and fill the reservoir while just sitting idling. Any ideas?

Ok. Thanks. Going to try and do a flush today and see if that solves it.
