Dodge Stratus 2005 SXT

Vents are not switching to defrost of floor. Air is just blowing out of dashboard. Sometimes rear defrost button does not engage too.

Any thoughts?

 

First try to reset your AC. Turn the fan to 1-hi (any active speed), temp to cold and vent location to top defrost. Turn the key to on (just before turning the engine on) and hold the rear defrost button until the second beep and the odometer turns to dashes. Let it cycle through it's reset procedure and see if the odometer say AC 00. Hopefully you will not have a code pull up like me. I have AC 24. Still don't know what mine means..... lol
