Bought a timing kit for my 04 stratus 2.4 dohc. I cant get the new timing belt to go on. Not sure if this was where to post this, but really need some advise.

Moved to the correct section. You have not provided enough detail for anyone to offer advise except to hit up you tube and look for some videos.

 

well if you have the dohc chysler 2.4 it's not impossible they sent you a belt for the sohc Mitsubishi 2.4.
C​​​​ompare the part number of your current belt from the kit to the stock belt you took off, I had this problem when ordering a timing belt when my coupe popped it's T-belt.
