04 Stratus Sedan headgasket and other issues
My 04 stratus is having issues. I have oil in the sparkplug well. After a recent cold spell, it's misfiring. (I assume misfiring is when the engine is shuttering a bunch when driving.) I've replaced all of the sparkplugs, but I'm having the same issue. How difficult is the headgasket replacement, assuming I get a harbor freight torque wrench? Would I need to replace other gaskets besides that?
Thank you,
Paul

So do you think that replacing that and the headgasket will fix the misfiring?
I've been told I need to get a new car... But if I learn to fix the stuff myself, it would be far cheaper, I think.

Without having the car in front of me, I can not tell you. You could always take it somewhere for a diagnosis and then go from there.
I've been looking here trying to find instructions for changing it, and I've lost my repair book. Do you know of anywhere online that has that portion of the install? Or a reputable place to buy the PDF from online? I've searched, but I'm not quite sure what to exactly search for.
